"I started doing some wrestling and submissions, and really liked it. I got into competitions and knew I had to learn more striking and kicking, and I just enjoyed the first classes I took. I kept excelling and looking for more to do. I got involved in Mixed Martial Arts just through the love of it," says Shamrock.

On Ultimate KOs 2, southpaw Lawler knocked out Steve Berger 30 seconds into round two. Robbie came out for the round determined to dispatch his opponent ASAP. After catching Berger with a solid right that sent him to the canvas, Lawler unloaded a volley of fists illustrating how he earned the name Robbie "Ruthless" Lawler.

Jon’s ultimate goal is to push himself to the limit and see where that takes him. "I’d like to try Shooto and PRIDE or UFC style competitions, because that’s where the media exposure is at the moment. Pancration is a great sport in that it is an introductory sport for me, and it’s giving me an international level of competition.
